Storyline: It has been over 50 years since the events that took place with Ripley
and her last encounter with the aliens. As a salvage ship finds Ripley in here
escape pod, they wake her and inform her that the savage planet that her crew
previously encountered is currently being teraformed to make it habitable for
sustaining life. When the ship can’t contact the planet they decide to
investigate, but when the alien menace that Ripley warned them about begins to
bring down the new team they must find a way to escape the planet while keeping
the aliens from escaping.
Thoughts? It's a really strong movie. I watched the extended cut (2:30+)
and thought that it added a lot to the story. The aliens are one of those
onscreen villains that will always scare the hell out of me...and rightfully
so. Awesome villains, awesome characters, awesome director, and awesome story.
If you have never watched it...DO IT!
